The cybersecurity industry, known for its high-stress environment and constant pressure, poses significant mental health challenges for professionals. While there are numerous initiatives aimed at supporting women in the field, it is crucial to recognise that mental health issues are pervasive across all demographics. This panel session will explore the mental health challenges faced by cybersecurity professionals, with a particular focus on ensuring that men receive the support they need through peer-to-peer initiatives. Furthermore, we will discuss how different community initiatives can operate independently while also benefiting from collaboration to create a comprehensive support network.

Objectives:
• Raise Awareness: Highlight the mental health issues prevalent in the cybersecurity industry.
• Inclusivity: Discuss the importance of creating inclusive support systems that cater to all genders.
• Peer Support: Explore the benefits of peer-to-peer support initiatives and how they can be effectively implemented for men in cybersecurity.
• Collaboration: Emphasise the importance of collaboration among different community initiatives.
• Actionable Strategies: Provide actionable strategies and best practices for organisations to foster a supportive mental health environment for all employees.
