Sharing information to counter cyber threats should be a no-brainer and a fundamental pillar of combating cybercrime, but it is not as easy as it sounds. In a complex world of transnational regulation, barriers to data sharing are too convenient an excuse to deny sharing. Still, if we are serious about tackling the problem, we must consider imaginative ways to overcome those barriers.
