The skills shortage in the cyber sector is well documented but less so is the targeting and ‘recruitment’ of young hackers by organised crime, some as young as 8.  How do we encourage this talent pool to turn away from crime and use their talent for the positive good of society?

• How are young people enticed into crime, what is the scale and are we doing enough to offer an alternative
• Speaking the right language is key to engagement.
• The carrot has merits which often has greater effect than the stick.
